I am surprised that no one has realized this problem earlier. I have noticed that the beacon and strobe lights flash extremely fast on all models of the ERJ. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this caused by loading the ERJ without loading a default aircraft first?
Thanks!
Steve

Yeah...your not the only one this is happening too. They basically blink like every second, even after I load an FS aircraft.

Us Airways B757: i've stated this to you before ... PLEASE sign at the bottom of your posts with your real name. folks: FS version(s). OS and bit versions. feelThere is supporting not one, not two, but SIX aircraft across two FS versions and five OS versions (or is it six ... can you get win7 32bit?). in order to trace/track issues we must know the above items, at minimum, to look into any concerns. --

These are custom strobes and until we find a solution for the other issue that forced us to this solution the strobes will remain as they are now. Thank you Vic

I read about a solution once but I cannot find it again... Something to do with the aircraft.cfg file.
Is there a solution that somebody can point out ? Thank you.

I see this is actually worse now in service pack 2 for this aircraft. I give up, I'll stick with the default effects as I pointed out in the other thread linked to in this post.
Cheers, Andy.

Vic, The original strobes, as discussed in Andy's' original post http://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=3775, are flashing very fast. It does not look like the real aircraft. So, the question is. Why can't the default MSFS strobes (Andy's' fix) be used by feelthere ERJv2 in a service pack update until a custom fix is found?

Vaughan, Because they would reflect inside the VC. Thank you Vic

Vic,
Maybe on a cloudy fogged in night I would expect some reflections.
I have not seen any reflections in the FS9/FSX ERJv2SP2 at night with MSFS default (Andy's fix) strobes/navigation lights.
The ERJ looks great in 2D and VC.
Edit: I only was in the United livery.
